Amber Lounge Singapore Wrapped Up The 2016 Singapore Grand Prix on a High Note
Amber Lounge Singapore 2016, The Original Grand Prix Experience, wrapped-up the Singapore F1 race with a bang with stellar performances by American songstress Kelis, DJ Ono of Bangkok Raiders and American rapper DJ Big Ali.
A glamorous fashion show kicked-off Saturday night’s festivities, with an impressive line-up of F1 drivers including first team drivers, Pascal Werhrlein (Manor Racing), Esteban Ocon (Manor Racing),Stoffel Vandoorne (McLaren), Rio Haryanto (Manor Racing), Jean-Eric Vergne (Ferrari) and Marc Gene (Ferrari) showcasing the latest Ted Baker collection. A bevy of models wore exclusive looks designed by up-and-coming fashion duo Sean & Sheila. The runway was further hyped up by the appearance of the 15 Miss Universe Singapore finalists.
R&B legend, Kelis dazzled the crowd on both Saturday and Sunday night performing her smash hits, Milkshake and Bounce. DJ Ono, one of Asia’s top DJs who has collaborated with the likes of Dash Berlin and Basement Jaxx, kept the crowd grooving alongside seven other international DJ’s.
On Sunday, an electrifying performance by American rapper DJ Big Ali kept an impressive line-up of F1 drivers such as Valterri Bottas (Williams), Sergio Perez (Sahara Force India), Carlos Sainz (Toro Rosso), Daniil Kvyat (Red Bull), Pascal Wehrlein (Manor Racing), Stoffel Vandoorne (Mc Laren), Felipe Nasr (Sauber), Esteban Ocon (Manor Racing) to mention a few, proving once again that Amber Lounge Singapore is the only place to be during the F1 race weekend.
Further, The most anticipated F1 event in the world, held just behind the Conrad Centennial Hotel, hosted a starstudded A-list stars as legend footballers Robbie Fowler, Rio Ferdinand and John Barnes, international stars such as glamorous model Danielle Lloyd and local actresses and actors Rebecca Lim, Elvin Ng, Romeo Tan, Desmond Tan, Zhang Zhen Hua, Jayley Woo and of course the F1 community.
This year marked the launch of Amber Lounge’s new party concept EXTRAVAGANZA – entertaining the audience with live performances across the night. Unlimited bottles of Methusalem and Jeroboam of Dom Pérignon were served all weekend. On the exclusive chill-out terrace, Valtteri Bottas and guests created their own Magnum on Sunday night at the Magnum Pleasure Bar. The Manhattan cocktail bar provided a fresh and cool area on the beautifully decorated outside terrace serving bespoke crafted F1 cocktails.
