Churen Li Takes On An Experiential Music Performance With Chopin Vs AI

While AI has quietly made its way into our everyday lives, from algorithm playlists to creating videos. And now we see AI increasingly go beyond technical abilities into the more creative side of the world, and can be used to compose melodies, generates visuals, and even mimics artistic styles, blurring the line between tool and creator.

Churen Li takes the stage in an intriguing experiential performance, where she will perform a repertoire of Chopin’s original masterpieces, AI-generated works in his style, and Churen’s own compositions inspired by his music. Chopin vs. AI – An Interactive Concert Experience by Churen Li is Presented as part of PolandSHIOK! 2026, the Polish Cultural Festival celebrating the best of music, innovative performances, cinema, and gastronomy.

Widely regarded as one of Singapore’s leading pianists, Churen Li creates performances that blend classical repertoire, contemporary music, and her own compositions into a single, deeply human narrative. And we will be able to see her proficiency come to life through her interpretation of Chopin and his Romantic style.

Breaking from convention, this interactive piano recital on Sunday, 19 April 2026 at The Arts House with two showtimes at 6pm and 8pm. Tickets are available online. The recital will have some audience engagement, where you will get to vote on whether Li or AI wrote the pieces in real time.
