Travel + Leisure’s 2016 World’s Best Awards Honours Langham Hotels & Resorts Around the World

Four hotels from the Langham Hotels & Resorts portfolio have been selected as top hotels in the U.S. by the readers of Travel + Leisure for its 2016 World’s Best Awards – The Langham, Chicago; The Langham, Hong Kong; The Langham, Melbourne and The Langham, Sydney. In addition, Langham Hotels & Resorts was also named one of the World’s Best Hotel Brands.

Langham Hotels & Resorts is #12 out of 15 on the World’s Best Hotel Brands list. The Langham, Chicago, one of the most celebrated hotels in the US since it first opened its doors, is #8 out of 15 on the Best City Hotels in the United States and #1 out of 10 on the list of Best Hotels in Chicago. This is its third year on the Travel + Leisure World’s Best list since its opening in 2013. The Langham, Hong Kong, which underwent a dramatic renovation in 2014, is #4 out of 10 on the list of Best Hotels in Hong Kong. And not one but two Langham hotels made the list of the 5 Best City Hotels in Australia and New Zealand – The Langham, Sydney at #4 and The Langham, Melbourne at #1. This is The Langham, Sydney’s first appearance on the World’s Best list since its opening in late 2014; this is The Langham, Melbourne’s 7th appearance in the #1 spot, its 8th appearance on the list overall.

Travel + Leisure’s World’s Best Awards honor the hotels, destinations, and companies that define the very best in travel. Originating in 1995, the international publication’s annual poll asks discerning readers to cast their votes on the top hotels, destinations, and companies that define the very best in travel.
