Japan’s No.1 pizzeria, The Pizza Bar on 38th and ranked Asia-Pacific’s No.1 Pizza is having an exclusive pop-up at Mandarin Oriental Singapore’s all-day dining Embu on 24 to 27 October and 29 to 31 October 2024.

The Tokyo restaurant executive chef Daniele Cason will be presenting his award-winning pizza creations in an intimate 8 seater omakase style with an eight-course lunch menu and a nine-course dinner, similar to his Tokyo outpost.

Diners can look forward to classic and seasonal gourmet pizzas similar to The Pizza Bar on 38th at Mandarin Oriental, Tokyo. Chef Daniele uses only Italian organic flour organic Italian flour with a ratio of a gram of yeast to 80 percent and a 48-hour fermentation as well as carefully handpicked ingredients.

For the Singapore pop-up, diners can expect the popular Tokyo mainstay, Bufala-  a traditional pizza that sees fresh buffalo mozzarella, San Marzano Solania tomato, and basil, Porcini – Fresh Porcini Mushroom with Kyoho Grape, Fontina Cheese & Marjoram, Pizzino – sandwich-style pizza with Mascarpone, Black Olives & Fresh Alba White Truffle and more.

Exclusive for the dinner menu will be Calzone-  stuffed pizza pocket with Mozzarella, Provolone, Parmigiano Reggiano, Rucola, Mortadella, N’duja & Ricotta.

A perfect ending to the meal is Chef Carson’s own take on the traditional Italian dessert, Affogato. The Affogato & Velvet Di Saronno, Vanilla Gelato with Hazelnut Praline, Biscotti, Whipped Soft Cream & Espresso.

The Pizza Bar on 38th 8 course Lunch is priced at S$168++ per person and 9 course Dinner priced at S$198++ per person. Premium wine –pairing of three 150ml glasses is priced at a supplement price of S$318++ per person.
