Award-winning independent craft brewery, Jing-A Brewing Co, makes its debut in Singapore with two of its signature brews! Paying homage to Chinese flavours and art, the Beijing-based brewery has recently launched their two signature brews, Mandarin Wheat and Worker’s Pale Ale, on local e-commerce platforms as well as selected bars and restaurants.

Featuring quintessentially Asian ingredients like mandarin orange peel and koji rice, Jing-A’s brews also come with quirky and whimsically designed labels that focus on Chinese modern art.

“As an independent brewery driven by passion, we are excited to debut in sunny Singapore,” say co-founders Alex Acker and Kristian Li. “By incorporating surprising combinations of unique ingredients with twists on classic styles; we are dedicated to producing exceptional brews made for local palates. We look forward to introducing them to craft beer lovers in Singapore.”

Quench your thirst with the citrusy, refreshing Mandarin Wheat ($18.30 per 4-bottle pack) – a delightfully zesty witbier that pairs mandarin orange peel and coriander in a gorgeous sunny gold brew, one that tastes as bright as it sounds and looks. Pair it with a spicy hotpot or just have it on its own. If that can’t convince you, maybe the awards its won will – having achieved Silver in 2019’s Australian International Beer Awards, and Gold in 2021’s Asia Beer Challenge.

If you’re one who prefers something less on the citrus side, and more hoppy, go for the Worker’s Pale Ale ($18.30 per 4-bottle pack). An American-style pale ale that’s malty on the tongue and delightfully surprising grapefruit notes that linger on the tongue, this brew also aims to pays tribute to blue-collar workers with its whimsical label art. Savour this together with burgers, dim sum, or barbecue dishes! Another award-winning brew, the Worker’s Pale Ale has been awarded Gold in 2017’s Brussels Beer Challenge as well as in the International Beer Cup, Bronze in 2019’s Australian International Beer Awards, and a “Double Gold” in 2021’s Asia Beer Challenge.

The Mandarin Wheat and Worker’s Pale Ale are currently available on various e-commerce platforms including Lazada, Shopee, PandaMart and Fairprice Online, at S$18.30 per 4-bottle pack.

For those dining out, the brews are also available in selected bars and restaurants, including KPO, SOL at Neil Road, Burger & Lobsters Raffles Hotel, Fu Lin and Coq & Balls. Price may vary from online price at these establishments.
