Rep your love with Genki Sushi with their first ever merch drop! The casual sushi joint has immortalised two of their best-selling dishes in two comfy pullovers, designed together with talented artists from the collective The Art Faculty.
Every table in Genki Sushi would probably have at least a plate of the Salmon Belly Dai Man Zu or Mentai Mayo Fries. Artists Grace Ong and Fong Bok Loong hand-drew their realistic interpretations of the cult favourites, laid out in the iconic yellow and white plate and rattan basket. The black hoodies come in two sizes, with a free size men’s and women’s cut. If you like your jackets oversized, get the mens’ for that baggy look.
So… are you team Mentai Mayo Fries or Salmon Belly?
These hoodies are only available online at genkisushi.com.sg, and are going for S$35 each. The limited edition hoodies have limited numbers, and is your only chance to own not just Genki-branded merch, but also support the artist at The Art Faculty, which works together with people with autism and related challenges to tap into artistic potential.
While you’re ordering a hoodie, don’t forget to treat yourself to a platter of sushi. With many still hosting gatherings at home and on WFH days, Genki Sushi has also put together takeaway platters with different combinations of their popular sushi like unagi, smoked duck, and hokkigai. The platters start from S$10.90 for Classic sets for 14 to 19 pieces, with larger family platters of more than 50 pieces from S$55.90.
There are three special sets created just for delivery, with the Special Set A covering all the bases with the Cheese Tobikko Ebi Roll, Genki Roll, and various fish and hokkigai. Sashimi lovers will definitely love the Special Set C, which is 18 pieces of black pepper salmon, yaki salmon, salmon sashimi, and salmon mentai – it’s basically a salmon party!
Other than their delicious sushi sets, there are also Salmon Belly Dons, Salmon Belly Fillets, and even rice bento sets when you want Japanese food that is not sushi.
