Singapore Cocktail Crossover (SGXC) Brings Together Bars and Spirits for A Week of Cocktail Appreciation

The Singapore Cocktail Crossover (SGXC) is the latest cocktail festival on the scene, and highlights the true cocktail experience by way of bridging the lifestyle energies with the appreciation of tipples and everything else on the entertainment spectrum that comes with it. The Cocktail Crossover can’t be described in a single sentence, as it encompasses a lineup of bars, chefs, bartenders, musicians, designers, and DJs across not just Singapore but also from around the region together to for an unrivalled cultural experience.
Happening from 9 to 14 June, the cocktail festival begins with a series of popups across Singapore at hotspot bars, before culminating in a festival over the weekend. Led by four industry giants, Vijay Mudaliar, Peter Chua, Henry Stonham and Caryn Cheah – the festival aims to celebrate the cocktail culture scene as a community that not just showcases the artistry of bartending, but also engages the senses through food pairing sessions, fashion and art showcases, immersive sensory workshops, and live music performances.
Each day in the lead up from 9 to 12 June goes around the Singapore heritage district, each spotlighting a different sensory experience, like a craft workshop with HY Yang from Hope & Sesame and Crafune or a food pairing session with ze char restaurant Keng Eng Kee and Harrison Kenny and Millie Tang from Maison Mahjong. Or push your sensoryscape with the fashion forward activations, where you can sip on fragranc-inspired cocktails crafted by perfumery Rahasya or leave a mark on an interactive live artwork by contemporary artist Neha Dubey.
The Festival weekend from 13 to 14 June is where everything gathers – DJs, grub, spirits, and bartenders come together for the best cocktail deals and experience in the city. Entry to the festival is ticketed, and each ticket comes with a complimentary welcome Signature Cocktail from The Orientalist Spirits, and all cocktails are at $18 nett. Cocktails are curated from over 30 brands including guest bartenders from award-winning bars like Bar Leone, Hope & Sesame, Maison Mahjong, and G.O.D.
