It’s hard to believe that 2024 is only 3 months away! If you’re looking to clear leaves before the end of the year, want to tick another festival off the bucket list, or simply looking for a quick getaway, it’s time to book those tickets.

Music festivals are back in full force this year, and there are plenty of upcoming festivals in December to let loose, where you can enjoy plenty of good music, delicious food, and maybe some local art and culture if you’re lucky. Here are our top 5 festivals that we strongly recommend for the most epic experience to end 2023.

CLOCKENFLAP

Clockenflap (Hong Kong, 1-3 December 2023)

Hong Kong’s biggest and most iconic music festival is back again after nine months, with the December event marking their 13th edition and the second festival in 2023. Their lineup for the 1 to 3 December is stacked with international acts like Pulp, Joji, Yoasobi, and IDLES. In their usual fashion, Clockenflap also features a huge roster of regional and rising acts, with Omnipotent Youth Society, The Fly, No Party For Cao Dong, Wednesday Campanella, and more taking the stage. The festival also dedicates a whole side program to the arts, with audio-visual performances, film screenings and intriguing art installations.

ZoukOut 2023 Lineup

ZoukOut (Singapore, 2-3 December 2023)

Party from sundown to sunrise at ZoukOut’s biggest bash in December. To celebrate their 20th anniversary, the iconic music festival set on the sandy beaches of Singapore is pulling out all stops to take you to another dimension! The festival has partnered up with the same producers behind Coachella, so you know that the vibes and stage would be absolutely spectacular. The current headliners include Martin Garrix, Alesso, Illenium, Fisher, with an exclusive live set with Japanese singer Joji, with even more DJs to be announced.

Maho Rasop

Maho Rasop (Bangkok, Thailand, 2-3 December 2023)

Born from the collaboration of three concert promoters in Thailand, Maho Rasop has now solidified themselves as an indie music festival where festival goers can discover independent singers and enjoy quality global performances. Headlining the two day festival in Bangkok is New York alternative rock band Interpol, with other acts like IDLES, Caspian, Balming Tiger, Alex G, Mildlife, Otoboke Beaver and more to take the stage. Be sure to catch four-piece Thai band The Yers, who will be preforming their final show at Maho Rasop before disbanding.

Djakarta Warehouse Project (Bali, Indonesia, 8-10 December 2023)

Djakarta Warehouse Project will be heading back to Bali for the 15th anniversary, with three days of nonstop partying! Held at the GWK Cultural Park, get ready for the best electronic music from various genres and an immersive stage experience. Top DJs like David Guetta, Steve Angello, Sebestian Ingrosso, DJ Snake will return as headliners, and joining them onstage for their debut DWP stage is Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. Hard dance lovers can look forward to the likes of Kayzo, Sub Zero Project, and Da Tweekaz, while Ferry Corstern will be bringing his Gouryella show game. And that’s just a little teaser of what to expect as the full lineup isn’t out yet.

Wonderfruit

Wonderfruit (Pattaya, Thailand, 14-18 December 2023)

Yet another iconic arts and culture festival in Asia, Wonderfruit is an immersive and unique experience where you can let loose with wellness workshops, epic art installations, organic food, and house music. Take a break from the city and reconnect with nature as there is an outdoor camping site, and be sure to come with an open mind as the program can only be described as diverse. The inclusive festival also has a huge focus on sustainability and inclusivity; teens and dogs are also welcome to join in the festivities which offers a little something for everyone.
