YUN NANS Stonepot Fish

Popular casual Yunnan restaurant chain YUN NANS opens its newest concept to Singapore.

YUN NANS Stonepot Fish introduces the concept of pressure-steaming sustainable live fishes in a stone pot made of natural granite.

Every table will have a granite stone pot that is specially handcrafted for YUN NANS. Not only does it heat the food evenly, but it also retains heat well. The fish (seabass, patin or soon hock) and broth are then cooked to a unique high pressure steaming method that is completely smokeless to extract the most natural flavours of the fish while retaining its tenderness resulting in a hearty pot of fresh, naturally sweet, and collagen-rich fish soup.

A variety of other hotpot ingredients such as premium meats of beef, lamb, pork, handmade beef balls as well as seafood like scallops, fresh prawns, fish maw and prawn paste are also available. Two signature soup bases (Collagen Fish Soup, Wild Mushroom Soup) are available for diners to choose from.

Aside from the signature stone fish, the restaurant is also serving favourites from YUN NANS such as Braised Wild Porcini Mushroom, Crispy Duck with Dried Chillies, Stir-Fried Spicy Clams including new items such as Crispy Barramundi Collar, Grilled Clams with Spicy Garlic Sauce and Fragrant Scallion Rice.
